The Look: Vintage Hollywood Glam; Soft, Sultry Waves
The following starlets let their hair down (literally!) by wearing hair in loose, soft waves: Debra Messing, Cate Blanchett, Angelina Jolie and Marcia Cross.
To re-create at home:
Before blow-drying, apply an extra hold mousse to give hair body and volume. Blow-dry with a medium round brush. Post-blow-dry, pick up a 1 1/4 inch curling iron, gather large sections of hair (1-2 inches) and spiral wrap around the iron to create loose, soft waves. To keep waves in place finish with Suave Professionals Extra Hold Hairspray (available at drugstores nationwide in February.)
The Look: Low Chignon with a Side Part and Side-Swept Bangs

The key to dressing up any chignon is to have hair that is high-shine! For a side bang that is smooth and soft - blow-dry bangs under using a round brush. Next, pull the hair back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. Gather hair into a mid ponytail and secure with a hair elastic. Finally, take the ponytail, twist and pin to secure the hair in the back. Finish with Suave Professionals Vibrant Shine Hairspray (available in drugstores nationwide in February.) For Vanessa’s high-glam look, start with teasing hair on the top of the head. Brush the hair back with sleek sides into a mid-ponytail (should be secured in an elastic at ear level). Smooth those strands not worn up with a straightening iron.
